Yes.
Female hamsters, or girl hamsters, will also fight.
They aren't any better with the fighting thing.
Syrian hamsters of any gender will eat each other if put in one cage.
Dwarf hamsters, on the other hand, can live with each other with a daily mini-quarrel.
I have two male hamsters they have been in the same cage alone numerous times, and they do not fight ever.
Two hamsters sharing a cage is not recommended unless they're dwarf boy hamsters as they will quite certainly fight to the death and then the hamster that won will eat it, so, No-not a good idea!
Yes, if they are mature, they will fight to the death. However, they can live with each other when they are still babies. {This is why it is hard to breed hamsters.}
Word of advice, NEVER put two boy hamsters in the same cage. Just putting two in separate cages next to each other can be dangerous.
no
it takes time you have to put the boy in the same cage as the girl wait about a week or 2 so they can get used to each other and the boy can get used to the cage then they will mate and it should be fine x
if your hamsters are two boys and you got them from the same pet store in the the same cage then it would be ok but that's probably the only time it would be. if it was a boy and a girl it would be ok to but then you would have baby hamsters.
Girl hamsters behave best they are more calm. Boy hamsters like to fight
its likely they will just breed but the male might attack the babies and if theyr syrian hamsters they should be separated because they will fight
Yes they do, they if the girl or boy does not want babies, the boy will want 1 and the girl doesnt the boy will fight for it, the girl with the same thing if she wants babys. Thank you for your time,
No. This should be obvious.
Girl and boy hamsters smell exactly the same there is no difference.
