What are must see attractions in Myrtle Beach South Carolina?

If you are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach there are some must-see attractions:

First of all, Myrtle Beach is the miniature Golf capital of the world, so you must make plans to try a few courses while here. Also there are enough family shows to keep you entertained every evening of your trip. Some of my favorites include Dixie Stampede, The Carolina Opry, Medevil Times and The Alabama Theater (my personal favorite). We also have a local Theater called the Main Street Theater in Conway (a town right outside of Myrtle Beach). If you are interested in Shopping there are three malls, two outlet centers, and two outdoor shopping arenas. Coastal Grand Mall is our biggest, folllowed by Colonial Mall, and Inlet Square Mall. We have two Tanger Outlet centers at different locations around the beach. Broadway at the Beach is a fantastic tourist attraction that includes a large outdoor shopping arena, many restaurants, a variety of night clubs, a movie theater, an aquarium, a miniature golf course, and many kiddie rides. The other out door shopping center -Market Common- will be opening up in the summer of 2008. Market Common will also have shopping, dining and a movie theater. In the Summer of 2008 the Hard Rock Theme Park will also be opening. With its Led Zepplin rollercoaster and many other attractions this is certain to be a must see attraction upon opening. There are many Golf Courses if you are interested in golf. As well as the usual Bowling allies, skating rinks and movie theaters. There are also three Water Theme Parks. Wild Water, is on the south end of the beach and has some of the best water slides in town. Myrtle Waves features the newest water slide called the "Aruba Tuba". The third is probably the oldest water park on the grand strand and actually backs up to the ocean so you can see the water as you play. This is the Family Kingdom Water Park. Family Kingdom is a small theme park that will not be as big as the new hard rock theme park but is rich in history and culture. Lots of fun for a laid back day of rides and cotton candy. As far as dining goes, there is everything from fast food, to seafood. The Nascar Restraunt is a dinning experience that includes go-carts and an arcade. There are Japanese Steakhouses, Chinese Buffets, Italian Grills, 50s style diners, Mexican Bar & Grills and every kind of Seafood place imaginable. I hope you enjoy your visit.
