4 - The lack of coordination between the various French Armies and Corps that hampered a mutual sustain when it would have been pivotal to face dangerous situation in being on the battlefield.
5 - The French were not able to mobilize a sufficent number of fighter, so they had to fight mainly outnumbered and their logistical organization was significantly lower than the Prussian's.
6 - After the Battle of Sedan, and the Siege of Metz, which showed the elimination of their most efficent fighting units, the French were not able to rebuild a very efficient army, because of lack of drilling of the reserves and the scanty avaiiability of material, supplies and weapons.
7 - Furthermore the French territory occupied by the Germans in November 1870 was in a central position, thus hardly allowing the various French armies operating ouside to unite one another or concentrate in order to exert coordinated actions against the Prussian lines.
