There is Black Iron pipe, made of iron. There is Cast Iron pipe, which is black in colour, made from old cars and their parts. There is black ABS plastic pipe, made of plastic. There is Utility pipe, also made from plastic.
Drainpies can be made of a variety of materials; polyvinyl chloride, aluminum, ceramic.
irrigation pipes are made of
They go down the drain or they react with the plastic and metal and could ruin the pipes.
Plastic.. Depends what type, but plastic pipes are made from plastic. :)
Raise the room temperature, or place a hot water bottle inside the machine, and allow the ice to melt in the pipes. Hopefully, the plastic pipes will take the expansion from the ice and not spring a leak.
Before copper and plastic pipes became available people used to use lead, iron or steel to make water pipes. Nowadays main water supply pipes for fresh water coming into buildings are made of plastic and pipes within buildings - delivering water to sinks, baths, showers and toilets - are made either of copper or plastic. Within buildings, pipes which take away waste water - which are also called drainage pipes - are usually made of plastic. Outside buildings, modern drainage pipes are mostly made of plastic but older drain pipes may be made of glazed earthenware (which is baked clay) or iron.
Pour a half cup of baking soda down the drain followed by a half cup of vinegar. Cover the drain. After letting the mixture sit for several minutes, flush the drain with HOT water. Try removing the cover on the drain and cleaning any hair or gunk you can see. The hair is probably built up in the trap under the floor and unless you have a basement it will be difficult to remove and clean it. If the baking soda and vinegar doesn't work and you can not get access to the pipes, you'll want to use something that dissolves hair, the most likely cause of the drain slowing, but is gentle on plastic pipes.
Some drain cleaners wil harm plastic pipes if used excessively.
No. Many vital parts in the dishwasher are plastic. Usually, the drain hose is plastic, too. Drain cleaners are ok for PVC pipes, but too caustic for other types of plastic. Drain cleaners also cause corrosion of metal parts.

Most drain pipes are made of copper
This because a strong base dissolves a wide range of organic material with minimal damage to metals and plastics commonly used in combination with drain pipes. One could ofcourse use certain acids but this would be dissolving metals and possibly plastic used in the drain pipes. Regards.

PVC pipes, made of combined plastic and vinyl, are often used for projects in which a drainage pipe has to hold up well against pressure and heavy weight. This type of drainage pipe can be constructed in a range of sizes and is very durable, even when exposed to chemicals.
Iron rusts easily when combined with water, and drain pipes have water flowing through them. If iron was used, the pipes would rust within a few days.
The pipes are PVC electrical conduits.
You must mean in DRAIN pipes. -It can not be used in plumbing pipes.
