The pygmy tarsier is a nearly extinct nocturnal primate native to Indonesia. They are rather small, weighing in at less than 2 ounces, and are covered in greyish or reddish-brown fur. Their eyes appear unnaturally large for their tiny 4 inch bodies. They eat mainly insects and happen to be the only primates to be completely carnivorous.
