A heart event is where you interact with a bachelor/bachelorette to make them like you more. If you give presents to the character you want to marry daily, you will make their affection for you go up, there are many heart stages. A heart stage is the color of their heart. ex.blue is a heart stage. During a heart stage, you are likely to run into a heart event. When you walk in to see them, you might walk up to them or you might see talking. It might look a little strange because your character is doing things you did not command. It is like a little scene. Sooner or later, you will probably get to respond to what the character is telling you, choose what you would say. It usually affects their feelings toward you, so don't be rude! actually you can find what she/he likes in the 'characters' tabs.

The heart events are almost exactly the same for each guy. The only difference is the Request Event. Each guy will ask something different. Here is the set of heart events you must complete to marry any guy or girl:

-Home Visit: 2 hearts

-Lunch Date: 4 hearts

-Request: 5 hearts It is different for each person. You do not have to complete the request right away. But you must finish it before you can get married.

-Home Visit Again: 5 hearts

-Confession: 6 hearts. The person will tell you to meet him/her under Alan's tree, near Brownie Ranch. Try to get there before 10:00am.

Heart Events are a little complicated in Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness. It always starts with the Purple Heart Event, but depending on how you answer during the first Heart Event the second Heart Event changes.

There are are two different Blue Heart Events. The one you have to activate depends on what answer you picked during the Purple Heart Event. Even though there are two Blue Heart Events you can only activate one. Then you must move on the Yellow Heart Event.

Here is how to activate Elliot's first Heart Event:

Purple Heart Event:

» Taro's house

» 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm

» Sunny, Clear, or Cloudy weather

» Ship at least 200 items in the current season

» Elliot must be inside Taro's House (see schedule above)

» Elliot at or above a purple heart color

Heart Events in Grand Bazaar are special cut scenes you can get with marriage candidates.

Most marriage candidates have four Heart Events. Emiko only has three. All the rest have four.

You activate Heart Events by fulling the requirements to get them to happen. Each Heart Event has specific requirements. The day, time, place, Heart Color, and weather all might matter when it comes to getting a Heart Event.

During a Heart Event you will be given the option of what to say. Depending on what you pick you could make the person like more or upset them and cause the person to like you less.

Seeing all of a marriage candidates Heart Events is a requirement for marriage.
