Those who would tell you that both evolution and creation have the same data and observation, but interpret it differently are trying to mislead you. Evolution, the change in allele frequency over time in a population of organisms is an observed and observable fact. The theory of evolution by natural selection, which is supported by myriad lines of evidence ( easily accessed at reputable sites-Pub Med, for instance and not nonsense sites-answers in genesis, by example ) explains much about that fact. Creation explains nothing and is ideology that many cultures have their own version of.
