Occupational safety deals with prevention of injury while at work, and with related investigation and documentation when an injury occurs. One popular governing body making sure that occupational safety is prioritized in places such as construction sites is OSHA. They have guidelines companies and organizations must follow and these guidelines are one of the reasons the number of accidents or injuries in the workplace is reduced.
