She was born in Italy in the 3rd century, AD. She could see her guardian angel at all times. She swore her virginity to God, but her parents still wanted her to get married. She married a man named Valerian. Cecilia told Valerian about her promise to God and her ability to see her guardian angel. Valerian was converted by Pope Urban, and upon his return, he could see her guardian angle too. This angel gave them two crowns made of 2 kinds of flowers (red for martyrdom, white for virginity). Valerian and his brother were martyred after being caught burying Christians found on the side of the road dead. Cecilia was later martyred for conitinuing their work. That's the nutshell of it.
