Hey!!! I own a dog and 2 guinea pigs. I say that while guinea pigs are fun, they poop. ALOT. So maybe a dog.. but dogs need a yearly checkup and vaccines (pain in the wallet) and guinea pigs don't. Maybe you should try rabbits. They're bigger that guinea pigs, but smaller than (some!) dogs. Also they don't have to see the vet often, but can spread ear mites causing sicknesses to other animals like dogs. ----P.S. My dog almost died from our rabbit that we had and we still have our dog now. (Poor Fluffy!)
No, guinea pigs are domesticated as pets. In some countries they are even raised for meat. There are still plenty of guinea pigs.
Grapes don't kill guinea pigs. my guinea pigs love them and have been having them for ages. although some guineas may be allergic to them but that doesn't usually happen
No,some male guinea pigs actually help clean and care for babies
Poultry, sheep/lambs, rabbits, goats, mice/hamsters/guinea pigs...

Personally, I don't think guinea pigs are ugly. I think they're very cute and pretty. But it's an opinion. Someone might think guinea pigs are ugly. There is no clear answer because this question is answered by an opinion.
Sometimes guinea pigs lose the use of their back legs. This is somewhat common and is not a sign of injury. If the guinea pig is dragging itself around, administer a dose of liquid calcium. This seems to solve the problem.
