Polar Bears have a special place in the human imagination. They're white so that they can hide. (Camouflage is another word you could say... )
No polar bears never visit Antarctica. Polar bears live at the opposite end of the earth - the Arctic.
Polar bears are solitary creatures; normally the only group of polar bears is a mom and some cubs, a family group. However, when several polar bears do end up together, the collective nouns are an aurora of polar bears or a pack of polar bears. Although pack is one of the collective nouns given, I believe that it's a misnomer since a pack infers a group working together like a pack of dogs, wolves, or coyotes. But even when polar bears are together, they don't work together.
Yes, due to rising sea levels Polar bears often go for a quick paddle. The end
zero, penguins and polar bears live at opposite end of the earth.
The collective noun for polar bears is a "celebration." So, next time you see a group of those fluffy white giants, you can say, "Look at that celebration of polar bears!" Just don't expect them to break out into a conga line or anything.
They run away from horse riding bears. Also, since horses cannot swim they dive into the water. All humor aside, polar bears and penguins don't live in the same area of the world so they would not need defending. Polar bears are at the north pole, penguins are at the south pole.
They hunt earlier in the day or toward the end of the day.
Like all bears, polar bears are attracted to any food source, and that includes human refuse dumps. This is a habit that can end badly for the bears, as they become dependent on humans for their food. Conflicts ensue, and the bear usually winds up dead.
polar bears habitat live on Icebergs. however with global warming, they are drowning, because they have to swim for days on end to find a thick iceberg.. itz really sad... Polar bears are found in the Arctic regions of the world. They are NOT drowning, because the sea ice they depend on is returning. The myth of drowning polar bears has already been debunked.
Polar bears live on the ice. To survive they pretty much have to eat any animal they can find and kill. They don't eat Penguins because polar bears live in the Arctic and Penguins in the antarctic, the opposite end of the Earth. But since polar bears don't travel that far, they can only eat animals native to the Arctic. And there are plenty of other animals apart from Penguins who never make it that far North.
it is 2010 right now, so this question cannot be answered until the end of the year. at the end of the year an average is made of how many polar bears are left. if we make an effort to stop global warming or at least slow it down, we can save the lives of polar bears and the average can increase from its miniscule number that it is today. please help slow down global warming, by maybe wearing a warm sweatshirt and blanket instead of cranking up the heat. please help us by saving ourselves and the polar bears we all love.
Most companions are in the store. Some of them like the bee, butterfly, or penguin you can't buy them. Howrse gave those away to people. Some you can get by completing certain objectives. On the snow ball fight, they gave out penguins and polar bears at the end of the snowball fight if you had some penguins and polar bears left over. If you want a dragon, you have to buy that in the exchanges. Hope this helps! :) If you have any other questions, you can ask me here or on howrse. My user is knitting92.
