Grizzly bears are found mainly in the northernmost regions of North America. They reside in the tundra and alpine meadows and forests. Their population numbers started to drop drastically after the beginning of the 19th century when grizzlies became popular for hunting expeditions. At one point in the 1970s, there were only 300 grizzly bears estimated to be left in the continental United States. The marmot, a cousin to the groundhog, is considered endangered in Canada. There is very little food in high mountain altitudes for the marmots, and they are easy targets for predators. There were as little as 20 marmots on Vancouver Island....
The grizzly is now considered just an inland race of the brown bear, and since the brown bear is considered "Least Concern" by the IUCN, so must all races of this bear.

Tundra is a cold, treeless region with a short growing season and a layer of permafrost, or permanently frozen subsoil. Arctic tundra occurs in the Arctic region; alpine tundra is found in high mountains scattered all over the world. The temperatures are generally a little higher and the growing season longer in alpine than arctic tundra, and there are some different species of plants and animals. However, both types of tundra still have a layer of permafrost. See Tundra by Peter Moore (Chelsea House, 2006).
your mom lol :D
Many tundra species can be found at high elevations in the mountains of the northern hemisphere. This is called alpine tundra. There is also tundra that occurs at lower elevations in the Arctic and some parts of the Antarctic. This is called Arctic and Antarctic tundra. Tundra is the coldest biome with the soil being frozen and unable to support trees.
Some species that are not endangered are fish, sharks, and most insects. Also, the main species of this planet, humans.

No, the caribou as a species is not an endangered species. However, some regional populations are endangered. But as a species, they are listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
Some species of penguins are endangered. Puffins are watched and there are groups lobbying to place them on the endangered species list.
