Coming totally from an Islamic perspective there is no Islamic country currently in the world. Most countries in the world are governed by man made secular laws such as democracy, socialism etc including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco list goes on. Islam is based on the Shari'a (devine law) which is not available in any country in the world since the dstruction of the last Ottoman Caliph.

What do you mean by 'Islamic Republic'? Some countries call themselves 'Islamic Republic of...' (e.g. Iran, Afghanistan), but that doesn't mean that all Muslims agree they abide by all Islamic teachings (or any interpretation of the teachings). Also, Islam gives women many rights indeed (if culture/ misinterpretation/ misunderstanding etc does not always show that...).
