Perhaps one of the most extraordinary LEGO creations ever made is a full-sized house assembled by designer James May. The house featured two stories and an estimated 816 million LEGO blocks. Various Plush Toy's and novelty item's are made in China, however the actual LEGO set's are 99% made in Denmark and European Countries. It's a big ask for LEGO to still be making their product's in Denmark. Apple, Microsoft, HP, Mega Bloks, alot of thing's are now made solemnly in China.

I have been looking for an answer to this myself. Sadly it seems that there is currently no way to do so. The best alternate is the Lego Pick-A-Brick service, but that does not always have all of the parts and sometimes, even when the brick you need is available, you cannot order the correct color. Another alternative is to go to a Lego store. Some (have been to many so I'm not going to say all) have bins that you can look through and pick out bricks from there. And finally, Ebay.
