I believe it's only Windows Media Player and possibly Windows Media Centre which allow you to post "what I'm listening to" to Windows Live Messenger (formerly MSN Messenger)

If you have to URL of the video then open Windows Media Player. When you have opened Windows Media Player then go to File > Open URL... There you just copy the URL and paste it in there and press OK. The video should start playing, so now go to File > Save As... and save it to a location. There you go, your done!
