∙ 12y agoThe simplest way of cooking a nice dinner is to take some sort of meat (fresh or frozen) in individual portions (chicken breasts, pork chops, tuna steaks etc...) and place on a sheet of aluminum foil. Add any flavorings that you require, wrap the foil around the individual portion and put in the oven for the required time. The foil keeps the meat succulent and you can flavour your meal individually (for example if the kid's don't like spicy food you can still have it). It is an easy method with so many variations.
Good combinations include: Tuna steak, ginger, soy sauce, lime/lemon juice, Tabasco, brown sugar. (I usually serve this on noodles).
Chicken, white wine, lemons, garlic and thyme.
Pork, any sort of wine and rosemary.
Lamb, white wine, pesto and small new potatoes/baby veg. (Yes, all in the foil together).
