Greece is nothing but history. For ancient (classical) Greece visit Athens and Olympia (the bithplace of Olympic games). For medieval visit Thessaloniki (specialy the medieval churches), and the islands of Rhodes, Corfu and Crete (believe me the beaches alone are worth it :) ). For modern, nothing spectacular, some buildings of the 19th and early 20th century (inferior to the buildings of the same time in central and eastern Europe), but the new Olympic Stadium in Athens(from the spanish architect Calatrava) is beautifull. Also you can walk in the ancient agora-where Socrates walked and preached...
