Some diseases caused by viruses are poliomyelitis, influenza, measles caused by rubeola virus, chikenguniya caused by chikanguniya virus, chickenpox caused by varicella zoster virus, AIDS caused by human immunodeficiency virus, and the common cold.
A virus consists essentially of genetic material surrounded by a protein coat. The genetic material can be either DNA or RNA. The protein coat is called the capsid. Some viruses also have a lipid envelope outside the protein coat, obtained form the host cell membrane when the virus leaves the host cell where it has reproduced. Examples of diseases caused by viruses are: herpes, smallpox, hepatitis B, influenza, measles, mumps, rubella, rabies, polio and the common cold. See: http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/alllife/virus.html

Infectious diseases are those diseases which are caused by infectious agents (which include microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa and virus, as well as some multicellular animals such as worms) and hence they are the ones which can spread from one person to another. Non-infectious diseases are those diseases that are not caused by infectious agents and do not spread from one person to another.
well some diseases are caused by climate change pollution of water like in the carribean there are some things polluting the water such as people and causing cholera to spark up
There are many human diseases that are caused by fungus, some commonly known diseases caused by fungi are jock itch, ringworm and athlete's foot. There are other uncommon diseases caused by fungus and one that I can name of is called Favus.
the herpes virus, which causes cold sores, and dermatitis.
There are many diseases caused by viruses--too many to mention here. HIV, influenza, the common cold, warts and even some cancers are linked to virus transmission.
Humans alone have hundreds of diseases that are caused by viruses. A very limited sampling includes: 1. The common cold, which is caused by rhinoviruses. 2. Some types of food poisoning from eating shellfish, caused by noroviruses. 3. Genital warts, which are caused by one strain of herpes simplex virus. 4. AIDS, which is caused by infection with HIV. 5. Cervical cancer, which is caused by infection with human papillomavirus.
Some protozoa are human parasites, causing diseases.Examples of human diseases caused by protozoa:MalariaAmoebiasisGiardiasisToxoplasmosisCryptosporidiosisTrichomoniasisLeishmaniasisSleeping SicknessDysentery
Some examples of diseases caused by improper sanitation are: cholera, the plague, dysentery and others.
There are many diseases caused by viruses. Some are - chickenpox, measles, influenza, rabies, AIDS, colds, the flu or polio. Rhinovirus (the common cold), Influenza A & B, Rotavirus, HIV, and so many, many more.

There are at least 40 diseases. Some are: the human papillomavirus (HPV) that causes genital warts, pubic lice are colloquially known as "crabs." Scabies is another disease caused by lice infestation, syphilis, chlamydia, most genital herpes infections are caused by a virus known as HHV-2, hepatitis B, the HIV virus (AIDS virus), trichomonas, chancroid, LGV (lymphogranuloma venereum) and gonorrhea.
