Seal lions, just as other animals, have certain instinctive behaviors. One behavior is of the larger male sea lions, they secure dominance over other smaller sea lions. They are also a social creature, this means that they congregate together. They sleep next to each other and even on top of each other. In the water, they also swim in small groups.
Crocodiles are a primal eating and mating reptile. They do not play like tiger cubs, when young, they don't maw to their mother for food, from day one they are out of the egg and killing and eating things. They have no interest in any thing else then their territory and eating. When they have a full belly they will still catch prey and store the carcass under a log for later. Lions can be tamed, they will eventually see humans as a source for food, not as food. You can have a captured croc for 20 years and he will know you and be used to you but he will still wait for the day when he can grab you and eat you.
Crocs rarely spend much energy when idle. They will float around in their territory saving energy to burst out of the water to grab their prey and tumble the victim over and over again, breaking bones and exhausting the prey, or drowning it.
A male croc will have up to 4 female mates in the same area. If he has too many females to keep up with, he will kill and eat a female.
Behavior is a human term used for being naughty or nice on one day. Lets just say crocs are not naughty or nice, just generally nasty killing machines, every day.

An instinctive behavior in humans is a natural, automatic response to a stimulus, without the need for prior learning. Examples include blinking when something comes toward the eyes or flinching when in danger.
Inherited behaviors are traits that are passed down from parents to offspring through genetics. These can include instincts like hunting or foraging skills in animals, as well as physical characteristics such as eye color in humans. Inherited behaviors are influenced by genetic material and are often seen across generations within a species.
