Marijuana can be used for numerous purposes. Some use it for religious/spiritual reasons and some use it for recreational purposes. Don't mean to be a stereo-typical user, but the things that certain governments say about its side-effects are almost completely false. It produces a less that euphoric state but it gives greater meaning to basically everything on earth. No hallucinations take place, some may say that they observe things differently but that is the effect of THC on the cerebellum. However, reading and attention span are blatantly effected, there is no question about that but it is only a short-term effect.

The medical uses of marijuana range from dealing with aids to dealing with Back pain, the things it accomplishes are almost endless. For example, Queen Victoria used for menstrual cramps.

There are a few medical benefits to mushrooms, mostly in the treatment and prevention on migraine headaches and cluster headaches. Very small doses, 1/10th of a recreationally dose or so, not enough to feel any effects, are taken every few weeks to prevent migraines and cluster headaches. a slightly larger dose may be required(1/4-1/2 of a recreational dose) in order to abort migraines and cluster headaches.
