Here are the most important things to remember to reduce weight:

  • Drink water excessively. Try to consume 3 litres of water in a day.
  • Instead of eating food in large portions eat just enough to satisfy the hunger. Also don't go on an empty stomach as this might make the body conserve fat to use as energy when you are starving.
  • Jogging or walking is a cheap and effective way to burn calories. Run daily for an hour or so in the morning on an empty stomach.
  • Eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. Avoid junk food since these contain oil or lots of sugar which adds to the body weight.

The other quick ways to reduce weight would be smoking, going hungry, throwing up the food just eaten (this doesn't make the person feel hungry and also the food is also not consumed), exercising vigorously for 4-5 hours a day all of a sudden. People out of desperation also opt on eating only a meal a day or none at all. These might give short-term effects, but they tend to gain the weight back as soon as the next meal. These diets also prove to affect the body drastically. Your skin might start to lose its shine and glow. You might start to feel more lethargic and less attentive or alert. Make sure you live a healthy lifestyle. Rather than being bothered about the way your body looks try to accept the fact that your body is not ugly. Statistics also prove that it's only when the mind is set right that diets help. Aim at achieving a healthy body and not a slim one because not all thin people are healthy and not all plump people are unhealthy.
