The 5 Pokemon that can trap others in battle are Wobbuffet, Wynaut, Diglett, Dugtrio, and Trapinch. If you are trying to catch Cresselia or Mesprit, only the first 2 will be able to stop them from fleeing, as their special ability is Levitate and the last 3's trapping ability only works on non-flying type and non-levitating (ability) Pokemon.
