My Chemical Romance and Three Days Grace? Maybe?
The most popular emo bands right now are: A day to remember, Black Veil Brides, The Misfits, and i suppose you could say Blood on the Dance Floor.
There is no such thing as "emo bands". there is only "emo-hardcore".
Scene isn't a genre, but if you mean what kind of music scene kids listen to, here are my top 5 bands (and I have been called emo/scene): 1. Blood on the Dance Floor (I LOVE them) 2. Black Veil Brides 3. Dot Dot Curve 4. Medic Droid 5. The Killers
Escape the fate: smooth
Scene is just a fashion..scene kids are ppl who just look emo or punkish..some may call it 'emo try-hard'..emo is also a fashion but is also a genre and the deep stuff like self harming..scene kids dont do that.
Emo
Some of them do but "scene" people are usually just posers that are half emo half preppy. you don't have to be emo to cut though.
emo
noppe its NOT emo.
No, death metal is not for emo's such bands as "Hawthorne Heights" and "Madina Lake" are emo bands death metal is more advanced and for more hardcore people and FYI everyone Joe Gardner has an egg dick. It's pretty simple. Emo music wants to kill itself, death metal wants to kill other people (the more, and the more brutally, the better).
Emo was A Genre before it was a Label And/Or A way of life, when A Band is called Emo, It would only be because of the style of their Music. Some Bands may Cut, but that's just up to them. Examples of "Emo" Bands; Hawthorne Heights, Fugazi, My Chemical Romance, Thursday, Automatic LoveLetter, Mest. Etc.. Not all of these bands neccessarily Cut, but their Music is Emo, As a Genre :P. =)
Older emo bands were more of an underground sort of sound. Bands like Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral, The Promise Ring and Texas Is The Reason were considered emo bands. Bands that are considered emo now are Alesansa and Silverstein.
