for example vedic god mithra was the principle deity in rome , the religion being mithraism.
both are naval powers
both have highly advanced cultures
both are also following somewhat secular hedonistic way of life

∙ 13y agoIf you look, you can "read" similarities between the U. S. and ancient Rome, or any other country and ancient Rome. But this, in my opinion is plain silly. We are two different countries, existing in two different times, with two different cultural outlooks.
