The main thing that will shorten a automobile battery life is to run it completely down. Auto batteries are not designed to be run flat as deep cycle batteries are. Every time it is run down it's life is shortened.
Some mild upgrades can actually lengthen the life. It's the major upgrades that can shorten the life.
No, running it down one time will not ruin the battery. However each time you run an automobile battery down you shorten it's life. It is not designed to be totally discharged like a deep cycle battery. So there will be some damage.
Some of the things you can do to make the battery life on my galaxy light last longer include turning off the wireless feature when no in use, reducing display power and dim time.
There are a few anecdotal accounts, but I could find no evidence of systematic problems with the Everex StepNote battery. From what i can gather this battery has quite a few problems it dies rather fast and can only have a short charge. More over the battery is drained while the laptop is closed wich "having a battery with 0% power" can shorten its life smal.
It depends. If the battery is low but not totally flat, connecting another car's batttery for a few minutes and then strarting ("jump starting") is better than jump starting from zero, because the low battery car alternator will tend to put a large current and this will overheat it and could shorten its life; therefore it is only recommended in an emergency. A completely discharged car battery will begin to undergo sulphation soon, so it should be taken to a battry shop or recharged immediately with an advanced regulated charger (some of the newer ones even have some advanced charging algorithms that can revert some degree of sulphation). Now, if it is truly an emergency, you can put the battery under heavy recharge current after a couple of minutes of lesser current, but this will shorten its life.
well it can shorten it for 26-33 yrs depending on how serious the cas so dont do it visit some sites on tips for great smoothies and fruit recipies !
You have to know the current rating of the battery (Will tell you how many amps or miliamps can be supported by unit time) and you will have to know the voltage operating range of the devices being powered. Usually there is some slop in the voltages so you could get away with it, but you could also shorten the life of the devices involved or burn them out.
Mostly from parasites, diseases and predators. Some die of hard work which shorten life expectancy.
Probably not to you or other people. But it can damage sensitive electronic things. And if it doesn't kill them right away, it can shorten the life of some electronic components, so that the device dies sooner than it would have.
Depending on what app you use. Some apps take a lot of battery life to use others less. A battery life tip is to go into your settings and turn down the brightness. This will help the battery life last longer.
battery
It would shorten the life span of the engine some.
