How do you calculate wacc using financial statements?

Identify every source of capital financing, including: (a) each type of debt and (b) each class of stock.Determine the market value of each source of capital. If a source of capital has no market value, then estimate its present value. Denote this market value as IVa for the first source of capital and IVb for the second, etc.Determine the return on each source of capital. For debt, this is pretax borrowing rate. For equity, it is the cost of equity capital rate using the capital asset pricing model or a multi-factor model. Denote each rate as ra, rb, etc.Now find the weighted average of the rates, based on the values of the different sources of capital. Here's the formula if you have two sources of capital, "a" and "b."WACC = [ra x IVa/(IVa+IVb)] + [rb x IVb/(IVa+IVb)]

What happened to Apollo 2?

Apollo 2 was an unmanned flight that tested the effects of weightlessness of the S-IVB tank. Near the end of the flight, the stage of the craft was pressurized to see how much stress it could handle. Even though the stage was destroying in the end, the mission was considered a success, having achieved all the mission objectives.

How does a rocket go to the moon?

That depends on what it is carrying. The Saturn V rocket which carried American astronauts to the moon between 1968 and 1972 used a three stage system. The first stage, the SI, would launch the Apollo spacecraft 'stack' from the surface of the Earth using 7.5 million pounds of thrust which burned all its fuel in the space of eight minutes. Explosive bolts would then fire and allow the expended first stage to fall away. The second stage, the SII, would then kick in and fire five smaller engines to boost the spacecraft toward orbit. After another few minutes this stage would also burn out and fall away in a similar manner to the first. The third stage, the S-IVB, would then place the Apollo spacecraft stack into orbit around the Earth. After a final check the S-IVB would then fire again and propel the spacecraft out of Earth orbit and toward the moon. About six hours into the mission, the Apollo Command Module (Crew capsule) would seperate from the top of the S-IVB and execute a 180 degree turn to extract the Lunar Module from its housing inside the S-IVB. With the S-IVB useless it would be dumped in space while the Command Module and Lunar Module coasted to the moon. Bear with me, this takes a lot of explaining! Upon arriving in Lunar orbit, the two astronauts selected to walk on the moon would leave their third crewmember inside the Command Module to orbit the moon while they fly down to the surface for a stay of up to three days. Once finished they would fire an engine and return to Lunar orbit to join with their companion, jettison the now-useless Lunar Module and fly back to Earth inside the Command Module. Once Earth is reached, the Service Module component that supplies most of the oxygen and battery power to the Crew Cabin was jettisoned enabling the Command Module crew cabin to undergo a re-entry of up to 26,000mph before splashing down in the Pacific Ocean. Quite simple really!

What is stage IVB of cervical cancer?

do you have combined vaginal/rectal cancer and did your cancer spread to your lymph nodes.you say stage 4 but in order to accurately answer this would need to know the above.as a general answer you would usually have a course of combined chemo an radio therapy to reduce tumor size and then surgery to remove the infected area to prevent recurrence and or further metastases.if your tumor is small with no lymph involvement you may just need surgery...all cancers types and stages are different an therefore the best person to answer this for you is your treating doctor,GP or oncologist.

What did Apollo 7 do?

Apollo 7 was the initial Apollo mission that left the ground and utilized the Saturn IB rocket (later missions used the Saturn IVB). The goal of the mission was to test the effectiveness of the newly redesigned command module for a trip to the moon. The mission did not leave earth orbit and unlike all other Apollo missions did not launch with a lunar module.
