Of course you can. Mexico does not have movement restrictions of any kind.
Airplane, bus, private car, railroad (scenic), boat. All of them are some modes of transportation in Mexico.
A passport (air travel) or ID/birth certificate (land travel) and some money to spend are all you need.

The World Health Organization is not recommending specific travel restrictions but advises travelers to be aware and alert to the WHO reports on outbreaks and use individual discretion to determine appropriateness of travel. It is not recommended that you travel if you are currently ill with suspected flu symptoms.
