Dogs can have many types of internal parasites, some that are so small that you can not see them with your naked eye. The best thing to do if you suspect internal parasites is to take a sample of your dog's feces in to your Veterinarian to run a check on to look for parasite eggs. The Vet can then identify what types of parasites your dog has. Bring in a sample of your dog's feces from a period of 2 days. Then the Vet can recommend what type of medication is needed to de-worm your dog. Rule of thumb is roundworms will look like spaghetti and tape worms will look like small grains of rice (that is actually their eggs enclosed in a segment that they shed as they grown inside of your dog.) Other parasites are too small to see so that is the reason to take a fecal sample into your Vet. to be checked out, also to check for other things too.
The answer is NO humans can not get worms from dogs
Yes. Though the parasitic worms of horses are similar to the worms of dogs, they are not the the same. This means that horses won't pick up worms from dogs and vice versa.
Dogs can certainly have worms and parvo at the same time. But worms in the feces definitely means the dog has worms.
