First disconnect the battery. then drain the fuel tank if possible, if that is not possible then make sure you are working in a well ventalated area. block the front tires and jack up the rear of the car and make sure you use jack stands. disconnect the power connectors to the fuel pump and disconnect the the fuel lines. place a good floor jack under the tank and unbolt the metal straps that hold the tank in place remove the fuel pump assembly and install the the new pump. reinstall the tank and the lines. if you buy the book to the car it will show you step by step.
