Hi, I Donated back in 2002. Immediately afterward, I was sick with the same symptoms that I now experience with Pancreatitis. I was never right since the surgery and the all doctors want to do is give you antacid and send you home. My Pancreatitis was never diagnosed until this year. I read on the Univ of Maryland website that surgery to the abdomen (laparoscopic in my case), heart or lungs that temporarily cuts of blood supply to the pancreas damaging tissue. The statute of limitations runs out after 4 years to sue so I am out of luck. I feel that I am unemployed and homeless because of my good deed.
