Short answer: we don't know. Most of our information pertains to the Second Temple rather than to the First.
The Talmud (Mishna, Middoth ch.1) lists the gates in the Second Temple:
A) The five gates of the Temple Mount:
the two Huldah gates to the south
the Kiponos gate to the west
the Tadi gate to the north
the Shushan gate to the east
B) The seven gates of the Temple courtyard:
the kindling-gate to the south
the sacrifice-gate to the south
the water-gate to the south
the gate of Nicanor to the east
the gate of the flame ("spark") to the north
the sacrifice-gate to the north
the gate of the hearth-chamber to the north
