Biological classification is also known as biological taxonomy.
The eight biological taxonomic ranks are listed below from highest (most general) to lowest (most specific):
A Phylum is preferred in zoology
B Division is preferred in botany
Please see the related links.
From the most diverse to the most specific:
Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species (from largest/least specific to smallest/most specific).
A good way to remember this is the mnemonic "King Philip came over from Germany on Saturday," just remember that "on" doesn't stand for anything.

The levels of ecological organization are:
1) organism
2) species
3) population
4) community
5) ecosystem
6) biomes
7) biosphere
1.Organisms
2.Populations
3.Community
4.Ecosystem
5.Bioshpere
There are six levels of organization.
Biosphere
Global warming Another response: Global warming certainly could, but it would not consider it to be directly an ecological phenomenon. Something ecological would be, perhaps, the spread of invasive species.
Encourage complete openness at all levels of the organization?
The Ecological Hierarchy begins with organisms. The second level is population which is defined as a group of organisms that are members of the same species and live in the same place at the same time. Next is community which is all of the different populations living in the same general environment. Lastly, an ecosystem is made up of the community and the physical environment.

biosphere :D
habitat, ecosystem, biome, biosphere.

The five levels would be on like the organization in ecology.
