There are many, but the problem is best avoided by flying, as most commercial craft do, (above the weather) which weather hazards aside is usually less congested and owing to a thinner atmosphere, planes can fly faster higher up- all things being relative. for similar reasons, airplanes do not have windshield wipers, though they do have electrical diffusion devices similar to de-icers on car windows and windshields. these were evolved by the Japanese in the China War circa l937 and were originally applied to ( all-weather) theodolites and weapons sights. the basic idea was sound and is still used- Nikon cameras have an internal heating element which would prevent ice forming on the inside of the camera-does not stop outer-weather fogging which can be cleaned off with say, Kleenex.
Both tornadoes and hurricane have very powerful winds that can tear apart buildings and vegetation, and produce highly dangerous flying debris. Though flying debris in hurricanes is less of an issue.
A hurricane is a powerful wind storm with rain and a lot of stuff flying through the air.

A hurricane. Because hurricanes can cause floods as well as wind damage from flying objects like desks and chairs.
The eye of a hurricane is relatively calm, as long as you stay away from the eye wall. Most birds would be capable of flying in the eye of a hurricane ... if they could survive getting there. I think even eagles would have difficulty in 200-300 mile per hour winds.
