It depends upon the year of your Cabriolet. If a 1999 or later Cabriolet, the solution is vastly easier than an earlier one. Go to any source like eBay for a listing of Hardtops for Porsche Carreras. Used, they are quite reasonable. If you order a new Carrera Cabriolet they cost about $3300.
87 octane is fine, but it will not hurt if you want to use a different octane...
Use "regular" gas - usually 87 octane.
