as the government cannot afford medicines for them, even for preventable diseases such as measles and diarrhoea. This meansInfant mortality is high.

* There is also ecological destruction in order to create more space for the agriculture and accommodation.

Unable to maintain and control the growing population, there is political instability in the country.

Rural-urban migration increases as rural areas are unable to sustain growing population. This could lead to shanty towns. This further leads to increased poverty and lower standards of living.

Infant mortality rate rises as the government is unable to afford medical treatment facilities.

Sometimes, the present working population is unable to pay for the education of the youthful population, leading to early withdrawal from school.

If you are talking human society, some of the disadvantages could be the following:

  • Few people to pass on traditions and lessons from the past.
  • Limited experience.
  • Often unwilling to compromise or see things from other perspectives.
  • Kids having kids without a social structure in place to take care of them while the parents get education, training, and grow up.

There are many advantages to a youthful population as well, of course, but the ideal in my mind would be a balanced society where we learn from the experience of others and there is family and social structure to help us recover from our mistakes.
