The advantages are pretty weak. It's cheap ... but you get the following disadvantages for free:

  • don't know where the waste went so it might come back to bite you
  • you can't recover it to correct the problems
  • it can cause earthquakes but you don't know where or when
  • it can poison your water supply
  • it can come back long after you forgot it was there
  • people who are hurt by the waste will remember it was you that caused the problem and want you to correct it and if that won't happen, a chance to make you pay.
