If you set the color profile to something with wacky curves you can prank people into thinking their monitor is broken, or even invert all the colours (if the drivers/card support curves which are tipped that much). It's amusing for about fifteen minutes. Can't think of any other advantages. I don't think anybody uses it.

No. Windows XP has it's own kernel and memory management system.
In windows 98 and windows me, the icons have a color depth of 16-bit, in windows xp the icons have a color depth of 32-bit and so they are higher quality. Note: Windows xp more user freindly and graphics clear.
Windows ME was written to replace Windows 98. It crashed frequently. People replaced it with Windows 98. Microsoft quickly replaced it with Windows XP, which works much better.

Start the computer and insert the XP installing CD, and when the process gets the partitions management section, delete the partition in which the W7 is installed, create a new one for the XP, and begin formating the XP.
