Atheism is just a lack of belief in a god or gods, rather than a movement or organisation, and therefore has no traditions. Individual atheists may observe traditions, but these are determined by other factors.

Atheist's customs are no different from those in other positions. When we sit to dinner as family, we do not say grace, we do not all go to church or temple on the sabbath. Family and friends are very important to us.

Except for their unbelief in god(s) atheists have no customs, rules, secret sign or handshake, uniform, lapel pin, theme songs, meeting places, secret agenda, etc.

Some do have blogs and write notes and meet with friends to talk over their views of current events, but these are local and individual efforts.

There are no customs unique or special to Atheists. Most of Atheists simply continue many of the same customs and behaviors that they had while religious, except those that are exclusively religious. For example, many still reunite on holidays and talk about their goings-on, many still believe in hard work and determination, many follow the Golden Rule, etc. They simply do not go to pray once a week or discuss the presence of a divinity in their lives.

Atheism is simply the absence of belief in gods. Atheism is not an organized group. Atheists do not worship anything and do not have any "traditions" or rituals that they follow as a group.
