Living near an oasis provides one with greenery as well as fresh water, which is very important for people living in deserts. Since there is water and greenery, the surroundings would also be much cooler compared to the middle of a desert. Food can be grown near an oasis but not on the hot sand, making it easier to sustain life. Usually, travellers may come across an oasis while travelling in the desert. If conditions allow, you may even buy part of the oasis and use it as a source of income.
