Look and consider a hook. Remember many people are getting spam mails claiming to be special offers from business and these carry viruses so customers are getting more cautious

Things like " Your winning coupon is attached!!!!!! - will these days go to the bin .

Look for the current spamming terms , if your using them then there is every chance your email is heading to the spam folder

- Many customers bno are using white and black list sifting. Encourage them to place you in the White list file - these should assist your communication - REMEMBER - You can just as easily be moved in to the black list.

Frequency of mail is important - if you are selling then consider customer overload.
