Answer 2
Camels have few real enemies. The main threat to a camel is the harshness of its surroundings (the desert). that is why the camel is developed to survive in the hot, sandy climate of the desert.
Not many camels roam free in the wild nowadays because most of the camel populations have been herded and domesticated by humans. Therefore they are relatively safe from predators, other than humans themselves.
In the wild, a camel would be hunted by Wolves, Caspian Tigers and Asiatic Lions.
However they would not be the main target for these predators. Most predators will just ignore camels, because they are rather hard to kill. But if the predator group is hungry enough, they will hunt camels.
Vultures also eat camels, but because vultures are scavenger birds, they only eat the remains of an already-dead camel instead of hunting them.
(As a side note, the Caspian Tiger was declared extinct in the 1970's).
The most common natural enemy of the camel is the wolf. There are no longer any single humped camels in the wild because of human habitat destruction. Humans are actually the largest enemy of the camel.
scorpions and any person unfortunate to encounter them! I hit the first one I saw while gardening in Oman with a shovel and it just looked at me, so any daytime encounter with these critters the size of a dinner plate (including their legs) is a bit unsettling since they stay in shady spots.
Camels have no natural predators. His only enemy is man.
Camels have very few enemies besides humans and formally the now extinct species Caspian tiger. But camels can swing their hind legs forward to kick, it's not quite as effective or powerful as a horse's though.
