These are still our main sources of energy, and the management is simply to respond to demand. I don't think any politician is going to stand up and say ' you can't have as much of that as you want'. It would be political suicide. We shall carry on using them until no longer available. Oil and natural gas will run out before coal. Also: Overpopulation contributes to the demand. Areas such as China and India, with large populations and a growing need for energy, are increasing the demand for coal, oil and gas, thus creating a need for more production. The problem is very multi-layered.
