Above all, I believe a friend should be loyal and trustworthy. I think a friend is person with whom confidences can be shared and secrets can be trusted. A true friend will not betray you, will not back-stab you, will not be two-faced.

∙ 13y ago- Desirable traits in a friend are honesty; loyalty; feeling like you can tell them your most private thoughts without them telling other people; knowing they will be there for a shoulder to cry on or enjoy laughing along with you when you are having fun. No relationship is perfect so you will have to accept the fact you are not perfect and there will be times when your friend is not perfect and there may be the odd argument or disagreement, but this should never break up a good friendship. Agree to disagree. This means that you each have our own opinions and each of you should respect that.
