right rear speaker,(blue & purple)
left rear speaker,(blue/black strip & yellow)
left front speaker,(green & white/orange stripe)
right front speaker,(brown & white/red stripe)
if for some reason the color are difrent you can hook up power to the CD or tape deck to be instaled.on the newer CD players have two wires for the speakers one is a positive the other is a negative if you hook the negative to ground or the aluminum shild just inside the cable jaket you can touch each wire with one of tho positive wire you should get each speker to work off two of the wires then you can hook up your wires (pos & neg) to find out wich wire is pos & neg hook up and turn up the volume then swap the wires to see wich way sounds better the corect way you should be able to turn the volume up higher befor it starts to crackle also on the sterio system ther is a pre amp installed by the factory when insalling a new deck this amp needs to be hooked up or the volume will be bearly hearable if you are using the Ford wireing harness (can be perchesed at any audio store,or Walmart stores sometimes carry them they cost around 20 dollars) you need to hook up the blue wire from the harness to ground
