What is the region in the nucleus that produces tiny cell particles needed in protein synthesis?

The region in the nucleus that produces tiny cell particles needed in protein synthesis is the nucleolus. It is responsible for making the small and large subunits of ribosomes.

What does the nucleus produce?

The nucleus (plural, nuclei) houses the cell's genetic material, or DNA, and is also the site of synthesis for ribosomes, the cellular machines that assemble proteins. ... This darkly staining region is called the nucleolus, and it's the site in which new ribosomes are assembled.

What is the semi-fluid medium within a cell's nucleus that contains chromatin called?

The semi-fluid medium within a cell's nucleus that contains chromatin is called nucleoplasm. Nucleolus dark-staining, spherical body in the nucleus that produces ribosomal subunits.

What is the small spherical body within the nucleus?

The dark-staining, spherical body in the nucleus that produces ribosomal subunits is called nucleolus. It is composed of proteins and ribonucleic acids.

What organelle produces ribosomes and is found in the nucleus?

Nucleolus

What is the simple function of the nucleolus?

It makes ribosomes, which help in making DNA subunits and proteins. The nucleolus is located in the nucleus.

What is organelle in eukaryote cell nucleus that produces ribosomes?

What are nucleuls?

An organelle that produces ribosomes.

Where are the ribosomal subunits formed?

In eukaryotic cells, ribosomes have 2 subunits that are formed in the nucleus and then exit the nucleus to form the ribosome. These subunits are formed of 4 rRNA strands of which 3(5.8S,5S,28S) are produced in the nucleolus of the nucleus and 1(5S) is produced outside the nucleolus in the nucleus. The 2 subunits are formed before they exit the nucleus creating a small subunit(18s and 33proteins) and the large subunit (5S,5.8S,28S and 49proteins). These subunits exit the nucleus and when an mRNA is to be translated it attaches itself to the small subunit and the large subunit then locks into the small subunit like a cup and the process begins.

How are ribosomes produced?

Ribosomes are manufactured in the nucleolus of the nucleus
