Yes If the power steering oil was put in the clutch hydraulics those hydraulics are ruined. If in some weird way it got onto the clutch disk the clutch would slip and drag.
Clutch judder, clutch slip, worn out!
Oiling the a/c clutch will cause the clutch to slip and burn up........
Sounds like clutch slip. Either the clutch springs need adjusting or the clutch plates are worn out.
my zafira clutch slipps in first gear after pulling away
Possibly the clutch was installed facing the wrong way, or the clutch has not had enough time to properly seat.
When it's worn out. When it's badly adjusted. When you keep your foot lightly on the clutch pedal.

I have a 2002 Chevrolet trail blazer the slip clutch is out was there a recall on them?
use the clutch slip method
I guess if you were really trying to you could. I drag race my pickup daily, and have yet to even feel it slip. But if you drive around with your foot on the clutch at all times I would suppose you could burn it up.
Clutch Slip can be caused by a couple of things but the main causes include a worn clutch plate, oil contamination on the friction plate itself, insufficient free-play and finally worn or seized operating mechanism.
