There are many different Girl Scout (and Girl Guide) organizations around the world. The levels are also varied, from two levels for Girl Guides in Australia (Australian Guide Program and Olave Program), to 6 levels for Girl Scouts of the USA.

For Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) there are 6 levels plus adult members:

Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador.

Girl Scouts of Japan have 6 levels (age groups) plus adult members:

Ranger Girl Scout, Senior Girl Scout, Junior Girl Scout, Brownie Girl Scout, and Tenderfoot Girl Scout.

Girl Scouts of the Philippines have 5 levels plus adult members:

Cadet Scout, Senior Scout, Junior Scout, Star Scout, and Twinkler Scout.

Each WAGGGS member organization determines the age levels and the names for their organization, so the answer to this question depends on which country and member organization you are asking about. Not all of them have five age levels.

A few years ago, Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) changed their Girl Scout levels. There are now five levels!

Girl Scout Daisy (grades Kindergarten and 1)

Girl Scout Brownie (grades 2 and 3)

Girl Scout Junior (grades 4 and 5)

Girl Scout Cadette (grades 6, 7, and 8)

Girl Scout Senior (grades 9 and 10)

Girl Scout Ambassador (grades 11 and 12)

Girl Scouts of the USA uses a grade level system, so Girl Scout Daisy is grade level Kindergarten and First Grade. Girl Scout Brownie is grade 2 and 3, Girl Scout Junior is Grade 4 and 5, Girl Scout Cadette is grade 6, 7, and 8, Girl Scout Senior is grade 9 and 10 and Girl Scout Ambassador is grade 11 and 12.

Other Girl Guide and Girl Scout organizations determine the scout level by age.
