Advantages dry type transformer accommodates less place than any other.
this x'mer do not catches a fire.
instalation at any place is convenient.
eco friendly looks & use
internal inspection is possible.
no corrosion.
side clearance is less
maintenance free (easy)
disadvantages
can not be use for more than 2000KVA
In hot desert we will get more vitamin D and this type of climate helps some fauna to live.

It is not a good idea to place an indoor, dry type transformer in out door. In outdoor it may subject to rain etc, for which it may not have been designed to.
forced air and draft oil dissipate
Necessary? Probably not. A good idea? Probably.
Transformer oil is a much better electrical insulator than air. So, in large transformers, oil is used to reduce the flashover distances between live internal parts, thus reducing the overall bulk of the transformer. At the same time, oil helps cool the transformer either by natural convection, or by forced circulation.'Dry transformers' are transformer that do not use oil for insulation or cooling purposes. They tend to be transformers with lower voltage and power ratings, where flashover and cooling is far less relevant.
Advantage: Informative speeches provide valuable information, educate the audience on a specific topic, and help clarify complex ideas. Disadvantage: They can sometimes be perceived as boring or dry if not delivered in an engaging manner, leading to audience disinterest.
A dry type using air to cool instead of oil.
to check if any air voids are present in casting
Electric company high voltage transformers used in the utility grid are typically insulated by being immersed in a tank of oil, and cooled by natural convection (circulation) of the oil. A "dry type" transformer is not immersed in oil, and is cooled by air convection or by fans.
To my knowledge no transformer is air conditioned. Some transformers have fans mounted on them, however, for uprating purposes. I don't believe this is an effective cooling mechanism for dry type transformers either (fans are usually used on oil filled transformers).
