The Philippine Criminal justice System comprises five pillars, namely: police, prosecution, court, corrections and community. But in other countries it has only 4, like US. What they don't include is the prosecution. The responsibility of prosecution is absorbed by the police.
So, the process itself is fast because if the police after analyzing the complaints and if they find that there is a probable cause then it will elevated now to the court for the hearing of the case, unlike in the Philippines it will go a long process.
So that's the disadvantage of it.
