Spray irrigation, is useful because it can be automated and can cover large areas. The main disadvantage to spray irrigation is that it is a spray, which can moisten the leafs and blades of the plants, which in turn can promote the growth and spread of fungus or other disease. When using spray irrigation we suggest watering in the early morning, which will allow the leaf and blades to dry out with warmer temperatures, and sunlight during the day.
